Sail into Summer is back for the seventh year! This signature event is held at the Windsor Yacht Club (WYC) with a dinner with wine, entertainment, and a silent auction, all supporting the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.
This year’s event will help to purchase a state-of-the-art Hemo Cardiovascular Information System. This will be part of the newly renovated Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the Ouellette Campus of Windsor Regional Hospital.

Tickets are $150.00 per person and include dinner with wine, entertainment, and a silent auction. This is a worthy cause, and we can all make a difference in achieving this goal!

First held in 2019, the event raised funds for a new Digital Mammography Machine for Windsor Regional Hospital (WRH). It allowed guests to celebrate the Summer Solstice at the beautiful Windsor Yacht Club and raised over $40,000 for the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. Given its success, an event was planned in 2020 but was canceled due to the global pandemic.
In 2021, Sail into Summer's "Home Edition" supported the purchase of an Arietta Ultrasound machine for the Operating Room at the Met Campus in support of the Urology program, and in 2022, Sail into Summer supported the purchase of an Endoscopic Ultrasound for Windsor Regional Hospital.
In 2023, funds raised from Sail Into Summer 4 supported the purchase of a new anesthesia machine with "Rainbow" Technology that provides clinical staff with continuous measurements to assess our patients in every operating room and detect adverse conditions much earlier. Thanks to last year’s support, Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the first hospitals in Canada with this technology!
In 2024, the event proceeds supported ‘State-of-the-art’ surgical equipment. The DaVinci Robot allows for a less invasive and less painful surgery for patients, decreasing their recovery time and lowering the risk of postoperative complications.
Last year, a new Hemo Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS) was installed for Windsor Regional Hospital’s renovated Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
This year, Sail Into Summer will support the purchase state-of-the-art Aphersis Machine for Windsor Regional Hospital’s renal program.
