EVENT DETAILS:
Birth of the Ba’b
In the Baha’i faith, the day of the Birth of the Báb is one of nine holy days and the anniversary of the birth of a prominent figure, Siyyid Ali-Muhammad, who later took the title of “the Bab” or “the Gate.”
The day begins with prayers and devotional readings. It continues with a festive social gathering either at home or in a place of worship. In keeping with the essence of Bahá'í, the celebrations are open to all.
