Warming Cap for Newborn Babies Patterns
Volunteers in the program knit caps for newborn babies. The cap is quick and simple to make so you can use up odds and ends that you may already have. Pink and blue are traditional, but any colour of the baby yarn is appreciated. To make the Pattern more interesting, you may add stripes, fancy stitches, or Fair Isle designs.
- Do not add a pom-pom, ribbons, or strings.
- Use baby yarns such as Bernat Softee Baby; TLC Baby Yarn or any other fine baby yarn.
- Use 4 mm, 3mm, or 2.5 mm needles depending on your tension.
