Every February, people in Canada are invited to participate in Black
History Month festivities and events that honour the legacy of Black
Canadians and their communities.
What has happened in the past, has
shaped and informed us where we are heading in the future, and it's
important to set aside a month for learning as much as we can about
Black History.
