The installation of large new banners began earlier this month at Windsor Regional Hospital.

Five new banners are being raised at the two campuses to thank frontline workers, hospital staff and the public during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The smallest banner measures 18ft. wide by 26ft. in height, to the largest banner at 30ft. wide to 60ft. in height.

"It's to celebrate our staff and also thank the Windsor-Essex community for all of their support and all of the support they have given us throughout these difficult times," said hospital CEO David Musyj at the June 4th, 2020 meeting of the Windsor Regional Hospital Board of Directors.

The two different-style banners will grace both campuses.

One banner includes the "Together We Stay Strong" heart emblem while the other points out "Heroes Work Here."
