"Nursing Week is a tremendous opportunity to reflect on our exceptional nurses who alongside their incredible colleagues from every corner of our campus have continued to go above and beyond throughout another challenging year,” said Karen Riddell, Chief Nursing Executive and Chief Operating Officer, Windsor Regional Hospital. "We want to thank and celebrate the dedication and efforts of not only these award recipients selected by their peers but to all nurses across our hospital and indeed throughout our community."
"As I reflect on our profession’s response to the pandemic, I think about the many ways we have "answered the call" and further acknowledge nursing as more than a profession but also as a calling. We have answered it in being flexible, adaptable and open to change," said Marg Campigotto, Chief Nursing Executive at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. "This was obvious in our staff’s response in volunteering to be deployed to serve our community’s most vulnerable whether in long-term care or with the homeless population. I would like to thank all of the nurses at HDGH for their ongoing commitment to our patients and our community."
Congratulations to all of our excellent nurses from WRH and HDGH!
