Windsor Regional Hospital is proud to receive the Sue Skrobiak Award of Excellence from the Odette School of Business.

Named in honour of a staff member who passed away in 2018 after 38 years of service to the school, the award is presented annually to a recipient with a positive impact on the MBA program for a sustained period.

“Just like Ms. Skrobiak, it takes a whole team effort of all 5000 staff members at WRH,” says Anthony Paniccia, Chair of the Board.

“Without all 5000 team members supporting each other and our patients, we would have never made it through the last three years.”

Paniccia, along with WRH CEO and President David Musyj, and COO Karen Riddell accepted the award.

“The MBA students are truly valuable team members with many eventually becoming employees at WRH and making a significant positive impact on patient care in their placements and eventual employment,” says Paniccia.

The award presentation was made during the MBA Dean’s Dinner.

In attendance were more than 70 MBA students and members of Skrobiak’s family.

“The partnership between the Odette School of Business and Windsor Regional Hospital has been long and fruitful,” says Mitch Fields, Dean, Odette School of Business.

“Throughout our evolution, Windsor Regional has been a valued partner organization. It has hired our graduates, provided valued co-op and internship opportunities, encouraged employees to enroll in our programs, and provided opportunities for faculty research.”

Congratulations to the WRH team!
