EVENT DETAILS:
Pesach/Passover (Judaism)
Pesach or the eight-day festival of Passover celebrates the freedom of Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. During Passover, Jews may fast (refrain from eating) or owning leaven. The first two nights of Passover are marked by a feast or Seder with family and loved ones. The meal can include wine, special foods (such as bitter foods to remember the bitterness of slavery), readings, and storytelling of the Passover story.
