Eid al Adha (Islam)
The end of Hajj is celebrated with the second Eid which is Eid al Adha (or the Festival of Sacrifice) across the world on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah and continues for 3 days. The first day of Eid al Adha is expected around June 7th this year.
Eid al Adha is often celebrated with communal prayers in the morning, visiting family and friends, exchanging gifts, and if financially able, sacrificing a ritually acceptable animal to distribute the meat between themselves, the poor, and friends & neighbours.
