W.E. Care for Kids Foundation has come through in a big way to support the purchases of new equipment at Windsor Regional Hospital.

The local children’s charity presented their annual cheque to Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation ($305,699.15), which will help cover the cost of equipment in the Paediatric Unit, Family Birthing Centre and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

“We are very grateful for W.E. Care for Kids’ continuous support of urgently needed equipment needs to help care for Windsor Regional Hospital’s youngest patients,” says Cristina Naccarato, Executive Director, Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.

“We are appreciative of our ongoing partnership to ensure the health and well-being of our local community.”

W.E. Care for Kids raises funds to support local paediatric programs through Foundation run events and initiatives.

“W.E. Care for Kids is thrilled to be making this donation to Windsor Regional Hospital as part of our ongoing mission to keep kids in Windsor, by purchasing vital paediatric equipment,” says Viki Grado, Executive Director, W.E. Care for Kids Foundation.

“This donation is made possible by our amazing group of volunteers, donors and sponsors.  It is because of them that we are here today.”

This year’s funding helped purchase fetal monitors and infant radiant warmers for the Family Birthing Unit, syringe pumps for the NICU and Paediatric Department, as well as audiology equipment for the Paediatric Department.
