In April 2020, just weeks after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, Windsor Regional Hospital entered into an agreement with St. Clair College to transform the SportsPlex - a stand-alone athletic facility on the school’s main campus, into a field hospital. Throughout the pandemic, the facility has played an important role in keeping our community safe as a field hospital, an assessment centre, and a vaccination clinic.
