WRH Receives 2021 Healthy Workplace Awards

Windsor Regional Hospital has been recognized for supporting the health and well-being of employees during the second year of the pandemic.
The Working Toward Wellness (WTW) Committee honoured 18 recipients with the 2021 Healthy Workplace Awards 2021 including three for WRH including;
- Health & Safety Award-Gold Level.
- Mental Health Promotion Award-Gold Level.
- Organizational Social Responsibility Award.
The awards were presented during a virtual ceremony on October 27, 2021.
As a result of COVID-19 and the exceptional efforts of local businesses to keep employees and the public safe, the Healthy Workplace Awards organizers continued their focus to acknowledge the challenges and opportunities associated with safe reopening and operations, while continuing to prioritize public health.
Other recipients include Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association, CMHA Windsor-Essex branch, Children First, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, Diageo in Amherstburg, Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association, Family Services Windsor-Essex, Freshco at McDougall and Tecumseh, Green Shield Canada, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, Municipality of Lakeshore, Orangeline Farms, REKO International Group Inc., St. Clair College, City of Windsor, Windsor-Essex Community Housing Corporation and Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
