WRH Foundation Welcomes New Executive Director
1-11-2022
After an extensive search, the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce Cristina Naccarato as the successful candidate for the position of Executive Director of the WRH Foundation.
Naccarato began working with the WRH Foundation in 2019 as the Manager of Philanthropy and has since assisted in raising over $10-million in funding for essential equipment for Windsor Regional Hospital. During her tenure, she has led a number of initiatives including the successful mega lottery, an augmented Direct Mail campaign and a campaign for essential equipment needs during the recent global pandemic. She will continue to play a key role in supporting the Capital Campaign to secure donations for the new acute care hospital.
“Over the past three years at the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, I’ve seen firsthand the immense impact our donors’ support has on the care provided to our patients,” says Naccarato. “I am proud to continue contributing to this important work, and look forward to leading the Foundation forward as we enter a transformational period for healthcare in our community.”
Prior to joining the WRH Foundation, Naccarato worked in Prospect Research, Strategy and Development roles for the Art Gallery of Ontario and Mackenzie Health Foundation where she assisted with the campaign for the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital. She holds a Masters in Library Sciences, Master of Arts, Literatures of Modernity and a Bachelor of Arts. In 2022, she earned the designation of Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
Naccarato will be taking over for the retiring Gisele Seguin who has been head of the WRH Foundation since 2019.
Join us in congratulating Cristina in her new role which officially begins November 1!
