Newly Renovated Multi-Faith Prayer Room Ready at Ouellette Campus

Windsor Regional Hospital is committed to providing the best care possible for people, regardless of their faith, religion or spirituality.
With this goal in mind, our Ouellette Campus Multi-Faith Prayer Room has been recently renovated and is now ready to meet the religious needs of patients and staff.
“Having a Multi-Faith Prayer Room available is an important way of meeting the spiritual and emotional needs for both staff working at the hospital as well as patients and families,” explains Director of Equity, Inclusion, Diversity and Anti-Racism Sarah Mushtaq. “We recognize this resource is important in our journey to ensure Windsor Regional Hospital remains a warm, inclusive and welcoming space.”
Located in the same hallway as the Gift Shop in room 1-533, the Multi-Faith Prayer Room offers two separate rooms set up for quiet reflection or prayer -there is also a washroom available nearby.
If you are not at Ouellette Campus, a Multi-Faith Prayer Room is available at our Met Campus as well. It is located on the first floor, east of Switchboard and is similarly always open for patients and staff.
Spiritual care is an integral part of the healthcare system at WRH. Clinically trained Chaplains are available to offer emotional and spiritual support, crisis intervention, counseling, bereavement or just a listening ear for patients, families and staff members.
