OVERVIEW
The patient care programs of Windsor Regional Hospital are supported by comprehensive Clinical Laboratory and Pathology services. These services are managed and operated through a cooperative arrangement between Windsor Regional Hospital and Erie Shores Healthcare (Integrated Hospital Laboratories Service).
We provide a number of services including:

| The Laboratory at WRH provides services for patients from the Windsor Regional Cancer Center and any outpatients registered in a hospital supported clinic or program. Community patients requiring blood tests as part of their "doctor's office visit" can be tested at BioScience Laboratories or Medical Laboratories of Windsor. Addresses and telephone numbers for these laboratories are listed in the Yellow Pages of the Telephone Directory under "Physicians and Surgeons". |
The Laboratory Staff is a dedicated team of medical staff, management personnel, medical laboratory technologists, medical laboratory assistants, and medical transcriptionists. Student placements are available in cooperation with St. Clair College and/or the University of Windsor for Medical Laboratory Assistants and Medical Laboratory Technologists.
